Frequently Asked Questions
Q. The operator cannot validate a step — the button is greyed out. A. The step is probably mandatory and is waiting for valid input (e.g. a photo has not been added yet, or no option has been selected in a dropdown menu). Make sure the step form is fully completed before validating.
Q. The operator link displays "Link expired" or "Invalid link".
A. The token associated with the job is no longer valid. Contact your administrator from the dashboard (/dashboard/refit/jobs) so they can generate a new secure link.
Q. A job has a status of "In progress" but nobody is working on it. A. The operator has probably forgotten to pause the job. From the admin dashboard, open the relevant job and manually pause it, or close it if the work is complete.
Q. I want to use the same workflow for several products. A. Create as many jobs as there are products to refurbish, selecting the same template each time. Each job is independent and generates its own report.
Q. How do I know which parts were used on a job?
A. Open the job report (/dashboard/refit/jobs/[id]/report). The Parts used section lists each part selected by the operator along with the quantity and unit cost.
