Understanding the Rental Dashboard

The Rental dashboard presents the key figures of your business activity.

Your revenue and key data. By default, the dashboard displays your revenue for the current year and current month in the central chart, expressed in thousands of euros, month by month. Four other general data points are shown:

  1. The number of rentals with a "in progress" status on your platform.
  2. The number of active rental products, i.e. the number of products activated in your catalogue, excluding complementary products.
  3. The number of new customers, i.e. the number of new customer account creations over the last 30 rolling days. Ex: if you log in on October 25, the dashboard will show you the number of new customer accounts created between September 25 and October 25.
  4. The total number of customers, i.e. the total number of existing customer accounts on your platform, including your archived customers.

Your revenue by year If you want to focus on the revenue for a particular year, click on the year selector to display your revenue amount for that specific year.

Your revenue by month If you want to focus on the revenue for a particular month, click on the month selector to display your revenue amount for that month.

Your rental data by date range You will first find data on new rentals: A chart showing you the number of new rentals created on your platform over recent days

  1. The number of new rentals created over the last 30 days
    1. Ex: if you view your dashboard on 10/05, you will have the number of rentals subscribed between 10/04 and 10/05.
    2. The number of new rentals created during the previous period, i.e. the 30-day period preceding the main one displayed.
    3. Ex: if you view your dashboard on 10/05, you will have the number of rentals subscribed between 10/03 and 10/04.

The month-over-month comparison When hovering over the chart, you will be able to compare, for a given date, the number of rentals created (in dark purple), and the number of rentals that had been created on that same date the previous month (in light purple). Ex: if you view your dashboard for the date 05/12 you will see 7 new rentals, whereas you had none on that same date, 05/11.

Pickup and return data The pickups block shows you:

  • How many rentals should have been picked up yesterday and were not — these are LATE pickups.
  • How many rentals need to be picked up today by a customer — these are PENDING pickups.
  • How many rentals need to be picked up tomorrow by a customer — these are SCHEDULED pickups.

You have the option to view in more detail all pickups for today and the following day.

The returns block shows you:

  • How many rentals should have been returned yesterday and were not — these are LATE returns (red label).
  • How many rentals need to be returned today by a customer — these are PENDING returns (green label).
  • How many rentals need to be returned tomorrow by a customer — these are SCHEDULED returns (blue label).

You have the option to view in more detail all returns for today.

Your date-range rental data — ongoing and upcoming Finally, these two charts show you the evolution of your rentals, with a day-by-day breakdown on hover, for:

  • Your rentals that moved to IN PROGRESS status over the last 30 days following handover of the product to the customer.
  • Your rentals with VALIDATED status that need to be collected by a customer within the next 30 days.

Your subscription rental data You will find the four key figures for your subscriptions on the left:

  • The number of subscriptions with ACTIVE status.
  • The number of new subscriptions, i.e. subscriptions that started within the last 30 days.
  • The number of customers with at least one subscription with active status.
  • The number of new customers with an active subscription who created their customer accounts within the last 30 days.

Your recurring revenue Finally, on the right you will find the chart of your recurring revenue over the last 30 days. Your Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) is the sum of all subscription rental instalments paid by your customers over the last 30 days. This recurring revenue does not include any penalties you may have charged your customers in the context of their subscription rental during that same period. Hovering over the chart will allow you to display your recurring revenue day by day. By clicking on ARR, you can view your Annual Recurring Revenue.

Finally, you can select a custom date range. By clicking on the date selector at the top right of the chart, you can select the start and end dates of the period for which you want to display data. Your chart will then display the data for the selected period.

Your sales data You will first find data on your sales through several key indicators:

  • Total overall sales: corresponds to the total number of sales recorded on your platform, across all categories.
  • Total sales of products taken back in Reuse: displays the number of sales made on items from the Re/use platform (second-hand/trade-in items).
  • Total sales of rental products: represents the number of sales involving items available for rental.

Finally, you can filter sales data by date You can also apply a date filter to adjust the display of data according to a specific period. Example:

  • If you view your dashboard on 10/05, you will see the total sales recorded from the start of your activity up to and including 10/05.
  • If you want data for one or more specific months, you will have access to the figures for the chosen period, in order to compare sales trends.
