SMS Configuration

To configure your SMS, go to the Administration - SMS menu. The General Settings block allows you to modify the general SMS configuration. In the "Sender Name" field, enter the name that will be displayed at the beginning of the SMS, so that your customer can identify you as the sender. Format of the name to configure: 3-11 alphanumeric characters and spaces (a-zA-Z0-9). WARNING Enable "Simulation Mode" to block SMS sending as long as your platform is not live. This prevents excessive SMS consumption during your tests.

Your SMS content

To customize the content of each SMS sent by the platform, click on their name:

• You can enable or disable each available SMS.
• The subject field is for internal reference only and is not visible to your customers.
• In the content field, enter the content of the message sent to your customers.
• Don't forget to enter your content in each language available on your platform.
• There is no need to format your text, as SMS messages are sent in plain text, without any text formatting or line breaks.
• Remember to shorten your SMS content as much as possible.

Your SMS content

Here are the variables to insert in each SMS, if you want your customer to receive the link they need to click on to proceed with the payment or to sign the submitted contract:

• Penalty payment link by SMS: {paymentLink}
• Contract signature by SMS: {contract_signature_link}; you can also use the variable {rental_id} to indicate the rental number associated with the contract.
• Payment link by SMS: {paymentLink}
• Security deposit payment link by SMS: {deposit_payment_link}

Your SMS history

To view the history of SMS messages sent by your rental platform, click on the "Historique" tab. For each SMS sent, you can view the following details:

• Unique SMS ID
• Recipient's phone number
• SMS subject
• Language in which the SMS was sent
• SMS content
• Date & time of sending

Note: Payment SMS messages are only sent if the corresponding option is enabled: In the Paramètres - Mon activité menu, you must enable the credit card payment option with "envoi du lien par SMS" if you wish to send payment links by SMS. Without this, SMS messages will not be sent by the platform.
