Configure a rental product

Go to the Catalogue - Products menu View and configure a product Once your product has been created, you can view and configure your product by clicking on its row in the product list.

The detailed page of a rental product When you arrive on the detailed page of your product, you will find the essential elements concerning it grouped by block — this is your product dashboard: • Essential information • Stock (in the various points of sale where applicable) — editable directly here. You can configure your product and its various elements by clicking the "Edit this product" buttons. Product statistics • Statistics for items associated with this product ID based on their statuses. • Offers

The product page tabs After clicking "Edit", you arrive on the essential product information tab. You will find on the left side of the page the various tabs that allow you to configure all the parameters of your product. These tabs will be constantly visible, allowing you to switch from one to another from each page.

1° General information Here you will find the configuration of fields already created previously. Only fields with an asterisk are mandatory: (see Creating a rental product) • Product name • SKU: product reference in ZIQY • Product model: internal reference for custom exports where applicable • Category (in green): here you can associate more categories with your product and even create a new category if needed. • You will then see all categories associated with the products appear below the category field. • You can remove any associated category by clicking on its black cross. • Family code: internal reference for custom exports where applicable. This field can contain letters, numbers, or special characters. You can use it if you need to track your products with any reconciliation code specific to your catalogue. • Tax rule • Product value: this value serves as the basis for calculating the deposit and penalties where applicable. • Sale price: indicative data that appears in the export of your items and which can be called on the front end if you have opted for a customisation by ZIQY. • Carbon emission savings per rental in kg: for more information, click here.

Activating your product Don't forget on this tab to activate your product using the button located at the top right of the product sheet. By default, when created, the product is deactivated. Confirm the activation of the product

Publishing your product online If you use the platform's front-end, you can decide whether products can be displayed on the front end (as opposed to products that will only be available for rental in store). By default, when created, the product is offline. To display it on the front end, click "Offline" — it will then become "Online". Click "Confirm" to validate the publication.

Your product can be rented on the front end and from the back office when it is "Online" and "Activated" Click "Save" before proceeding to the next action You can either: • Save the configuration of your product. • Duplicate the product: for more information, click here. • Archive the product: the product is no longer visible in the platform but the history of this product remains in the platform's sources. • Delete the product (deletion is permanent and is only possible if your product has never been the subject of a rental.)

2° Additional information In the Additional Information tab, you will be able to include more information about your product. This information will then appear on your front end. Two fields are available: the Summary field, and the Description field. Both come with a WYSIWYG editor, so you have the ability to modify the formatting using the text editor (green frame). Display source code. If you know how to code in HTML, you can also display the source code in HTML format within the editor. The HTML view Once the source code is displayed, you can further customise it for optimal display on your front end.

Other additional information. • Tags (or keywords): you can add as many keywords to your product as desired. These tags will be displayed on the rentals page. They will allow you to filter or sort rentals based on this criterion. • External link 1 and External link 2: these 2 links allow you to automatically insert in the "Order confirmation" and "Your rental starts soon" emails the links corresponding to the rented product. The variables {product_link_1} and {product_link_2} are used to display external link 1 and external link 2 respectively in the content of these emails. For more information about emails, click here. • Video link: enter this link if you wish to display a video on the product sheet in your front end. • The video cannot be hosted on your website — you must make it available on an external player (Youtube or Vimeo), then copy the link. • Cover image: this is the thumbnail image that will be displayed to illustrate the product in the back end. It is also the product thumbnail that will be displayed on the category pages of your front end. Don't forget to save your new information!

3° Online display In the "Online display" tab, you can manage the display parameters of the page on the front end and in search engines. In the first sub-tab "General", define: • Name: this name is used to identify your product page in the BO, in the front-end configuration. • Title: this is the page title displayed in the search module on your front end. • URL: this is the simplified URL of your page. Note: two pages cannot have the same simplified URL. In our example, the front-end URL being https://demo-rental.ziqy.co/ ; the simplified URL of our product being banane-decorative ; the final URL of the product page will be https://demo-rental.ziqy.co/banane-decorative.

In the "Header and footer" tab, define your header and footer parameters for your product page. You can choose whether or not to display: • The page header • The page footer • The header specific to pages of this type • The footer specific to pages of this type More information about this feature in this tutorial. In the "SEO" tab, enter the search engine optimisation data for your product page. Enter: • The title tag that will be displayed in the browser header and in search engine results • The meta description tag that will be displayed in search engine results You can fill them in in all available languages.

In the "Product sheet Tags" tab, define optional tags that will be displayed on the cover image of your product on the front end. To create a tag, type its text directly in the search bar. To use an existing tag, select it in the search bar. Manage tags Once your tags have been created, you can edit them. Click on the "Manage tags" icon. Modify the display order of your tags It is possible to display multiple tags per product. By clicking "Modify the display order of your tags", you can change their display order on the front end. Note: modifying the order of tags applies to all product sheets.

Modify the background colour of a tag To modify the background colour of a tag, click on the colour to the right of the corresponding tag name. A picker opens, inviting you to select your new colour. Don't forget to click the "Save" button at the end of the row before closing the pop-in. The "Documents" tab The "Documents" tab allows you to manage the documents for your product. You can add: • "Documents": these are sent with rental confirmation emails (for example, you can attach a PDF to product documentation) • "Checklist documents" : they will be displayed during a product return (these documents allow the seller to ensure that the product is returned complete, by displaying a checklist of elements to verify) We recommend reducing the size of your files as much as possible, especially for documents sent by email, as they may prevent the proper deliverability of your emails.
