View / Understanding the details of a rental

View / Understanding the details of a rental All rentals created on the platform can be found in the Rentals - Rentals menu. To view the details of a rental, click on its ID or on the =A button at the end of the row. The rental ID is displayed at the top of the page.

View / Understanding the details of a rental The rental dashboard allows you at a glance to view the following information. The identity (first name, last name) of your customer, their email address, the current status of the rental, the rental period (the start date and the expected end date; no end date is displayed in the case of an open-ended subscription rental), the withdrawal type and the point of sale chosen if applicable. View / Understanding the details of a rental The rental details panel allows you to view more detailed information.

  1. Rental type: fixed-term or subscription-based (in the case of a subscription, the subscription ID appears at the end of the row; if it is a fixed-term rental, the rental ID is displayed here).
  2. Rental details: rental price, total price, duration, commitment...
  3. If there is a shipment to be made, it is displayed here; you can manage it by clicking the "arrow" button. Example display for a subscription-based rental. The rental ID and the subscription ID are different here. The subscription duration is indicated along with the commitment period. The subscription price is displayed per billing period. In our example: €59.90 per month. The product details allow you to view the contents of the rental. The name and SKU of each product, the quantity per product and the type of reserved stock, the serial number of each item handed over to the customer, the price, the add-on products rented alongside the main product, and the customer qualification if applicable.

  • The ID of successful transactions, the payment dates, their amount, the payment method (Online: Note: a transaction only takes place in the case of online payment. If you have chosen in-store payment, no transaction will be visible.), the payment method, the payment status. At the end of the row, a button allows you to download the corresponding invoice. The list of amounts to be settled If all amounts due for the rental have not been paid, they are displayed below the transactions block.

View / Understanding the details of a rental Comments. You can add, view, edit, or delete internal comments related to this rental. Your customer will not have access to these comments; they will only be visible on this page. Action buttons On the right side of the page, below the rental dashboard, you will find all the available action buttons for this rental.

View / Understanding the details of a rental Here are the various buttons that may be available, along with the conditions and associated actions.

  • Pay: if the initial rental amount has not yet been paid by your customer, you can proceed with payment using this button.
  • Refund: if it is possible for you to issue a refund, this button appears; this button does not require you to refund your customer, it only indicates that you have the option to do so.
  • Packing slip: allows you to generate a PDF containing the customer's information including their delivery address, the products to be delivered, and the name of the selected carrier.
  • Hand over product: if the rental is validated and in-store pickup has been selected, you can proceed with handing over the product(s) to your customer.
  • Return a product: when your customer returns their product(s) in store, you can record the return on the platform.
  • Replacement request: when your customer loses or breaks a product, you can proceed with replacing that product.
  • Extend: if your customer wishes to increase the rental duration, you can extend the rental using this button. Additional charges will result from this action; you will be able to find them in the "Amount to be settled" panel (see point 14 of this article).
  • Cancel reservation: if your customer wishes to cancel their reservation before it has started. Cancellation fees may apply depending on your configuration; they will appear in the "Amount to be settled" block.
  • End rental: if you click this button, a pop-in will indicate the actions to be completed before being able to end the rental. The custom fields panel. If you have added custom fields to your rentals, the responses appear here.

View / Understanding the details of a rental The "Documentation" section This section allows you to view contracts signed in the context of this rental. The download icon allows you to download each contract in PDF format. The rental status history. You can view here the successive statuses applied to this rental, as well as the date and time when these changes occurred. If a payment pop-in is displayed when the rental page loads, this means that the rental you are viewing has not yet been paid. You can close the pop-in and continue viewing.

View / Understanding the details of a rental If extension contracts are pending signature, an orange banner alerts you and allows you to proceed with the signature immediately. To do so, select the contract to be signed, then follow the contract signing procedure.
