Create a product pack

Create your product by selecting the "Rental product" and "Product pack" options. For the rest, fill in the fields as you would when creating a simple product. Once you have completed the form, click "Create product". Enter the general information. Continue with the additional information and images.

You will then be able to create your pack by going to the "Pack" tab. Add the products that will make up the pack using the search field. You can search for and select the product(s), and repeat until you have selected all the products that should make up the pack. In this case, the product will be composed of the selected products only, according to the terms you will define in step 8.

You can also select a category. In this case, your customer will be able to compose their own pack by choosing products belonging to the selected category, and according to the terms you will have defined in step 8. Since the update of 02/12/2024, packs with a category are functional on the front-end. To work, they require that the products in the eligible categories have the "Online" status. Please note: if your products have no offer (because you do not want them to be rented outside the pack), the "Rent" button available on their front-end pages must redirect to another page on your site. In this case, we invite you to contact our customer support so that our integrator can make the necessary arrangements.

Configure the products that make up the pack. Each time you select a product, a side panel opens on the right side of the window. Here you will be able to define the terms of the pack composition. In the "Restrictions" tab, you can:

• Make your product mandatory in the pack (at least one product must be mandatory for the rental to be possible).
• Define a minimum quantity for the product.
• Define a maximum quantity not to be exceeded (if the maximum quantity equals the minimum quantity, then the pack will necessarily be composed of this quantity for this product, and the quantity cannot be modified by the customer).
• Define the quantity included in the pack price.

In the "Pricing" tab: Important: for the content of this tab to be displayed, you must have created and activated a date-to-date rental offer and/or a subscription offer for the pack product (to be created in the "Offers" section of the left-hand dropdown menu). In the "Pricing" tab, define the price of the product in the date-to-date and subscription offer. This price will be added to the pack price for each unit of the product added by the customer in the composition of their pack. If one or more units of the product are free, they will not be included in the final pack price. Important: the price defined at this level will serve as the unit rental rate for the product, which will be used to calculate the revenue generated by the item provided as part of the pack rental. The revenue generated by an item provided as part of a pack therefore does not depend on the price of the pack's overall offer, but on the price of the product within the pack offer. Example: if a price of €5 per day is set for the product "Game 1" provided as part of this pack, the corresponding item given to the customer will generate €5 in revenue per day. If a price of €0 per day is set, the item provided will generate no revenue.

Select a specific price for this offer if desired. To do so, you must have previously created one or more specific prices (such as "Sub test" for example). Click "Save" when the product configuration is complete. Click "Delete" if you wish to remove the product from the selection for the pack.

Configuring a category that makes up the pack. After selecting a category, the side panel opens on the right side of the window. In the "Restrictions" tab, you can:

• Define the minimum quantity of products belonging to the category in the pack.
• Define the maximum quantity.
• Define the quantity included in the pack price.
• Exclude certain products from the category for the pack composition.

"Pricing" tab. Important: for the content of this tab to be displayed, you must have created and activated a date-to-date rental offer for the product. In the "Pricing" tab, define the price of the products in this category within the date-to-date rental or subscription offer. This price will be added to the pack rate for each unit making up the pack. If one or more units of the product are free, they will not be included in the final pack price. Similarly, you can add specific prices.

Click "Save" when the configuration is complete. Click "Delete" to remove the category from the pack composition.

The pack composition is visible when you return to the "Pack" tab. Here you can see the products making up the pack and their configuration within the pack. You also have the option to manage the display order of the products making up your packs on the front-end, using the sorting arrows that you can drag to move a product up or down.

Stock availability information on the front-end. If a product is out of stock, a popup opens indicating which product is not available.
