Create a subscription rental offer

This is the second type of rental offer available on the platform. In the context of subscription rental, your customer rents a product for a fixed or open-ended period and pays at each billing cycle. For example, in the case of an open-ended rental at €99 per month, the customer will pay the first instalment at the start of the rental, then €99 every month on the anniversary date. You can create multiple subscription rental offers for the same product. The subscription activity configuration is available for PRO and EXPERT plans.

Go to the Catalogue - Products menu. Click on the name of the product for which you want to create an offer. Click the "Edit this product" button at the bottom of the "Product information" block.

Click on the Offers tab. In the "Subscription rental offer" section, click the "Create a new offer" button. Name the offer you are about to create.

Choose a duration option for this offer. Unlimited: the subscription will have no end date and will be renewed until cancelled. Fixed duration: the subscription will be automatically cancelled at the end of the defined period. The tax rule applied to your subscription rental offer is the same as the one defined for the product. You cannot modify it here; it is displayed for reference only. However, you can modify the tax rule applied to the product.

Define the cost of the subscription rental. This price can be entered inclusive of tax or exclusive of tax. Choose the option that suits you: VAT included or VAT excluded. The cost of the subscription rental can only be defined on a monthly basis. Commitment period You have the option to define a commitment period for the subscription rental. This is essentially a minimum rental duration. Without commitment, the subscription can be cancelled at any time. With commitment, the subscription can only be cancelled after the defined commitment period.

Allow product change during the rental For more information on the multi-shipment offer, read our tutorial. Once you have entered all your settings, click the "Create the offer" button.

The details of the created offer are displayed in the Subscription rental offer block. You can enable or disable your offer whenever you wish. Confirm your action.

You can set a default offer by clicking on the star. The price of this offer will be highlighted on the category page, and this offer will be pre-selected when the customer lands on the product page in the front-end. You can edit and modify the created offer at any time, or create a new subscription rental offer.
