Do I retain my customers' banking data?

The platform retains only some banking data. The last 4 digits of your customers' bank card as well as its expiration date.

An alias to ensure the security of your customers' banking data

We use a common identifier between the ZIQY platform and your payment platform in order to communicate with it regarding your customers' transactions: this is the banking alias. Each alias corresponds to a bank card.

When your customer uses their bank card for the first time on your site, they will enter all of their banking information on your PSP's secure page.

Your PSP will then send us an alias to identify that customer's card for future exchanges between your PSP and the ZIQY platform.

For example, when your PSP wants to notify us of a successful payment on one of your customers' bank cards, it will send the platform: "on banking alias AA_123456789// we charged on 01/01/0001 the amount of XX euros".

This way, your customers' banking data is not stored on the platform and is secured with your PSP, which is the only entity authorised to handle banking data in plain text.
