Can I use a custom domain name for my ZIQY site?
YES! It is possible to customize the URL of your ZIQY site. At deployment, your platform is temporarily created on a public domain name owned by ZIQY. It will have the following format: https://your project name-rental.public.subnomy.com/admin You can then let us know the domain name with which you would like us to customize your platform. You will receive the URL and IP address of your platform by email. In an email entitled "ZIQY Platform Access and Training", you will find this temporary URL as well as the IP address of your platform. Point your domain name to the IP address received. If you wish to customize the URL of your site:
- Go to your account at your domain name hosting provider (OVH, Ionos, Gandi or other).
- Point your domain name to the IP address we have sent you. The DNS propagation of the new IP address on the web at a global level can take from a few minutes to several hours. You can check the propagation status using this tool, for example.
Notify us of the DNS change
Once your DNS change has been made, please send an email to onboarding@ziqy.co letting us know the chosen domain name. Example of a domain name (TLD = top-level domain, e.g.: .co, .com, .fr): name.TLD => ziqy.co or www.name.TLD => www.netflix.com
Once the customization has been completed and confirmed on the ZIQY side: The new URL of your platform will become: => https://your custom domain name/admin
If you have activated the ZIQY mini-site in your platform, it will be accessible via the following URL: => https://your custom domain name
