The detailed page of an item

Items are the physical objects rented by your customers. For 1 product you can have several items. An item is created on the platform when it is rented for the first time. It will then have "a life", be returned, re-rented, damaged, repaired, broken, scrapped... This journey and all information about the item are available on a page dedicated to it: the detailed page of the item.

To display the list of all items created on the platform, Go to the Catalogue

• Items menu. To view the page of a particular item, Click on its serial number. Here is the detailed page of an item. You will find general information about the item and the associated product, financial information, and the details of its "journey".

The financial information at the top and bottom of the page. The total revenue generated by the item (Total revenue excl. VAT, excluding complementary products). The monthly recurring revenue generated by the item for the current month (MRR excl. VAT). The annual recurring revenue generated by the item (ARR excl. VAT). This calculation is based on the revenue excl. VAT generated by the item in the current month (MRR*12). The residual value incl. VAT of the item, calculated based on the selling price of the linked product minus the revenue excluding complementary products. The second-hand selling price incl. VAT of the item, which equals the residual value minus XX% of the product's selling price (capped at YY% of the product's selling price) - These percentages are to be defined in the Settings > Items menu. The number of rentals that have used this item. The number of days since the item was created on the platform. This number is frozen at the end of the item's life, when it is declared lost or broken. The percentage of rental days relative to the item's lifespan. The calculation is as follows: (number of rental days/number of days of life)*100.

The product information. The first box, in the top left, shows the serial number of the item, the date it was created, and its end-of-life date. And the general information relating to the product for which the item was created. The product status (activated or deactivated), its name, its SKU, its value, the category in which it is registered, the tags added. For more information about the product, click on "Go to the product sheet". The item history The list presents the latest events for the item. These events are materialised by a change of status. On each line you will find: a status change ID, the date and then the time of this change, the new status for the item, and the user who initiated the change.

Only the latest lines of the list are displayed. To see all the status changes for the item, click on "View full history". At the bottom of the page you have the option to add comments about this item. To do so, enter your comments in the window provided for this purpose. Then click on "Validate".
