Customers
In the Customers - Customers menu, you will find the list of all customers registered on your platform. Several statistics are also displayed: • The number of customers - the total number of customers with an account on your site. • The number of customers who have subscribed to at least one rental
- regardless of its status. • The number of customers who have at least one rental with the status "in progress". • The number of customers who have never subscribed to a rental.
Filters and columns
• Filters: • Status: allows you to view all non-archived customers, or only archived customers. • Rentals: you can select the "yes" option to display the list of customers who have at least one rental. Or "no" to display the list of customers who have never had a rental. • Columns, each of which can be sorted: • ID - unique identifier assigned to the customer when their account was created. • Customer - first and last name of the customer. • Email • Phone • Rentals: indicates whether the customer has already had a rental or not.
Buttons and search field
• The "Export" button allows you to export the entire list of your non-archived customers in CSV or Excel format. • The "Import" button allows you to create new customers in bulk via a CSV or Excel import file. • You can also create a new customer by clicking the "New customer" button. • A search field allows you to search for a customer by their ID, first name, last name, or email. • To view the details of a customer and access their detail page, click the =A icon at the end of the row or on their name.
How to archive a customer
Select the row(s) of the customers you wish to archive, and click the "archive" bulk action at the top right of the list. Please note: archiving a customer does not anonymize or delete their data. If you wish to anonymize a customer, follow the procedure in this tutorial.
How to unarchive an archived customer
If you have archived a customer by mistake, or wish to unarchive them, filter your customers by "Archived" status, select the customer(s) to unarchive, and click the "unarchive" bulk action.
Viewing customer details
Click on a customer's name to display their detail page. The customer detail page has 3 tabs: Information, Rentals, and Payment Method.
In the "Information" tab you will find the customer's general information, such as their title, last name, first name, date of birth, language, email, phone... This is the tab where you can anonymize your customer, or send them a link to download their personal data.
Auto Login
The "Auto Login" button allows you to access your customer's account (front-end). This is useful for viewing what they can see and for better after-sales follow-up. The operation of the customer account on the front end is explained in this tutorial.
Their addresses
You can edit or delete saved addresses. Each address has a "Billing address" or "Delivery address" tag, or both, allowing you to know how each address has been used. An address without a tag is an address that has never been used in a subscribed rental.
And their qualification information.
If you have enabled sub-customers, this block allows you to: • View/edit/delete your customer's relatives • View/edit the qualification form for your customer and their relatives
In the "Rentals" tab
you will find the list of rentals subscribed by the customer. Click on a rental ID to access its detail page.
In the "Payment Method" tab
You will find the payment methods used by the customer for their rentals. From this page, you can send a link to the customer so they can update their saved payment method (for example, in the event of an expired saved card).
