Beta version of hourly rental

We have launched a beta version of hourly rental so you can benefit from this new feature in advance. It is currently only available in the back office.

Configure hourly rental on your platform Go to Paramètres > Mon activité > Configuration générale > Type de location. Check hourly rental then enter the minimum rental duration. This is an option that will apply to all your products without distinction, EXCEPT if in the product sheet you have configured a specific minimum duration which will then be the reference duration applied by the system. Example: General configuration, minimum duration 3H. Product SKU 1234, minimum duration 2H. Your customers will be able to rent SKU 1234 for a minimum duration of 2H. Don't forget to Sauvegarder

In your product sheets, configure the hourly rental offer Go to each of the product sheets for which you wish to configure an hourly rental offer. Create a new hourly rental offer

Configuring your offer with a decreasing or progressive price In the pricing mode, select "price model", then select the price model to apply to the offer. For more information on creating price models, click here. WARNING: a price model can only have one unit. Make sure to create your price model in hour units and only select a price model with this unit in the hourly rental offer.

Configuring your offer with a fixed hourly price 1° Choose the VAT to apply to your offer. 2° Then the price of one hour of rental excluding or including tax. 3° Choose the pricing mode by period. 4° Limit the rental period with a minimum and maximum number of rental hours allowed. 5° Activate your offer.

Don't forget to Sauvegarder your offer

Creating an hourly rental Go to your Locations menu > click on "Nouvelle Location". Select the product the customer wishes to rent by the hour

Confirm the selection Choose the rental type "à l'heure" Select the rental date

Select the rental time slots A summary of the selected period is then displayed below the selectors. Alert message in case of non-compliance with the minimum rental duration If your selection does not comply with the minimum rental configured in the product offer or in the general hourly rental configuration, you will see this message appear. Add your product and its offer to the cart

Check your cart summary then continue creating the rental through to payment. Hourly rental in the rental page In the detailed rental page you will find the offer conditions: price, minimum and maximum duration, the rented product, the total amount and the rental period.

What the beta version does not include!

• No display of rental time slots in the customer account on the front end.
• No quote possible for an hourly rental.
• No extension possible for an hourly rental.
• Duplicating a product with an hourly offer does not duplicate the hourly offer.
• The configured lead times before and after rental start do not apply to hourly rental.
• No hourly offer possible on complementary products.
• None of the platform statistics take hourly rentals into account.
• The date-to-date contract templates and date-to-date emails/SMS will apply to your hourly rentals without distinction.
• The security deposit will not apply to your hourly rentals.
• Do not hesitate to contact your project team if other features are not available for hourly rental in order to check with us the possible go-live date of the improvement.
